Hoppy Easter!! (yes, I meant "hoppy")

Hoppy Easter everyone!

Please tell us that spring is right around the corner?

We are getting dumped with snow up here! But I better be careful of what I wish for because the heat of the summer is right in front of us.

Speaking of the heat... Larry and I are working on the house and reconfiguring things to accomidate the baby and future guests. We will be looking into some options to add cooling options to our old house so we don't have to use window air conditioners around the baby.

Option 1 - Central Air to 2nd level
Option 2 - Installing cooling in the attic - Like shown here: http://www.unicosystem.com/
Option 3 - Updating the house with duct system and full AC and New Heating.
Our guess is that option 1 will be the lower cost solution, but what is the right thing to do? ;)

If you have any suggestions or know of anyone that can help us with this decision, please let us know.

Things are going pretty well otherwise. Larry is still doing physical therapy for his back hoping that he can avoid surgery; Easter was great! Good food and great company!!

The baby is growing and am I... no worries... just bummed about getting so big!!!

Love to all!

The ultrasound was AMAZING!

Sorry for the late posting for the ultrasound pictures... we were pretty busy with the St. Patrick's festivities this weekend.
The ultrasound was amazing and everything is looking just perfect for the little one. We bought a new video camera - very nice one - in hopes that we could tape the session, but they would not allow it. We will ask our Doctor to see if she could do another one in her office that we could tape so you all can see the movement. It is amazing!!
We are still unable to tell the sex of the baby, but the technician put her best guess in an envelope for us to open at a later date. Larry and I will try hold out until our anniversary...June 2nd. ;)
Baby design is underway... still determining a theme... Pretty exciting. We are moving everything around in the house to get ready for guest rooms for visiors. We are very exicted to have Larry's family come visit us again!

BIG CONGRATULATIONS -

Week 19, here we come!

We are getting very excited for the baby, even though we have not prepared the room or anything yet!
Last weekend we had some of the St. Pat's folks over for our annual Irish Idol party, and it was fun... for them. ;) I think we are truly ready to be parents and to enjoy friends and family on a much smaller scale. (e.g. Grilling, nice bottle of vino, outdoor movie and good conversation.)

The baby is now about 8 inches long already and weighs 7 ounces, just like a small baby doll. (According to the pregnancy website.) I definitely know it is growing in there. I often get little growing cramps and pains. I am even starting to wobble when I walk... lovely. ;)

I can't wait for Larry to be able to feel and see the baby moving... I know Blue and Chandler are tuned in and like to snuggle up close to my tummy. It is very sweet.

We have some house guests for the next couple of weeks. Dione and Jesse! Jesse is deathly ill of cats, so we have asked our good friends Natalie and John to cat sit for us.... They don't want to give Chandler back! He is such a sweet kitty! I think Blue and I will have to go over to their house for a visit because he is wondering where his cat buddy is and I think he is a little lonely.

This weeks activities:
  • Monday - Ran errands, Hair cut... (I guess that would be Joy)
  • Tuesday - Picked up recognition plaques for the Dinner on Wed.
  • Wednesday - Wearin' O the Green Dinner (fantastic! but tiring..)
  • Thursday - Cleaned house and pick up Dione and Jesse
  • Friday - Worked on Parade line up with Karin
  • Saturday - Worked on St. Pat's stuff... host brunch at our house
  • Sunday - Nursing home tour with St. Pat's

Isn't that enough?

OH yea, Larry got the bathroom sink and towel bars up! You can go potty AND wash your hands! Next, the shower!

Next Friday we get out Ultrasound! I can't WAIT!!

Love you all!
