Rainy Days and Monday's...

Pregnancy is okay. It is starting to get a little more uncomfortable, but that is to be expect. Larry is hard at work remodeling the upstairs a bit. We just bought some bamboo hardwood flooring to put in the baby's room and the room across from it. That should help keep dust and allergens down from affecting the baby.

My Mom, Colleen, is painting a mural for the baby's room on a canvas that we can put up in the room and also have it as a keep sake...should we move or whatever. That was Larry's good idea too. ;) (Hopefully you can see the electronic Prototype I mocked up for her to trace.)

Starting to look forward to not have to be at work pretty soon. I really could use a break. Saving up all my vacation so I can spend some more time at home with the baby when he arrives is a good thing, but tough when I could use a DAY OFF! ;)

Chat more later! ;)

Week 29! 11 Weeks Left!

We are very excited to announce that we are having a baby boy! Daddy is very excited and has already started thinking about little league and college scouts and recruiters. (Let's hope the boy has his father's sports acumen and not Mommy's)

We have been busy registering for all the things the baby will need and deciding the layout of the nursery. We will be using a Dr. Seuss theme, which it one of Larry and my favorite children's book series. My Mom will be making a mural on canvas that we can put in the room. I just hope it does not say "Dr. Zeus." (She is hilarious!!)

We are also very proud to announce that Larry's sister, brother-in-law, and our little God Daughter Megan, will be welcoming a new baby into their lives this year too!! Congratulations, Angela, Scott & Megan!

My health is VERY good... I just went to the dentist today to make sure my teeth and gums are okay and they are perfect. :) There can be complications with pregnant women who acquire periodontal or gingivitis disease during pregnancy, but we have nothing to worry about.

My family will be hosting a Baby Shower at my Aunt Val's house in June. We also have invited those who are remote to join us via Satalite (WebCam). Would you expect anything less from a geek like me? This will also allow us to stay more connected with Larry's family and they can see the baby more often without having to travel.

Thank you everyone for all your kind words and support. We are overwhelmed with all the love and support you give us everyday.

All our love,
Joy & Larry
